The pictures above (Kuorosh on top and Farzan below) are currently decorating the work cubicle of a friend.
So I asked her one day, "Ooh who are these guys?"
She looks at me in shock and goes or should I say shouts, "They are like the top male models of Iran!!!"
Me says, "And how am I supposed to know that?!"
She says, "Come on! EVERYBODY knows Farzan. He is internationally famous now! He is currently based in Sweden."
Me says, "Everybody knows Farzan in Iran and maybe Sweden. The only Farzan I knew was a student councillor in my secondary school. And he looked nothing like that."
*Point to note: Friend had just returned from her trip to Iran and Turkey.
She says, "I tell you the Iranians are beautiful. Nice features, great eyes, thick hair..."
Me says, "Yeah I agree. I mean if you look like that (pointing to the pictures)..."
She says, "No wonder its called the Land of the Aryans."
My friend wasn't exactly listening to me. Her eyes had this glazed, distant look which could only mean she was in a far away land called Persia.
I tried to get her attention but the land of the aryans was too strong a force for my waving hands to compete with.
I then decided that I will just Google John Abraham, print her a hot picture of him, and say, "You don't know John?! He would have been the top model in Iran if his mom's ancestors did not migrate."
