Feeling competent

Miri Ben-ari, hip-hop violinist.

Its the first time I hear the term hip-hop violinist being officially used on someone.

Miri is currently living and working in the USA. She has worked with many notable R&B singers, i.e. Kanye West, John Legend.

As her name would suggest she is not American by birth.

She is an Israeli, which is synonymous to being brilliant.

So I guess her talent is self-explanatory.

Shreya Ghoshal, the voice that launched a million CDs.

She was the voice of Paro in Devdas.

This is her accepting the Best Female Singer Award for the tamil song which was the mantra for many lovers, for a certain period of time.

Shreya cannot speak or understand Tamil. She writes the Tamil words in English and sings.

Her accurate pronunciation is lauded by many music directors, including Illayaraja. She pronounces WAY better than the many Tamilans I know. Won't you agree Poonaam?

Ellen Page, age 21.

I watched Juno AGAIN, for her..

I watched Hard Candy AGAIN, for her...

She is a talented actress. She is intelligent, witty and matured in her interviews.

And the fact that she can play the guitar and sing (in tune) just makes her all that more great!

You go Ellen!!!

These three women have kept me entertained and have accentuated my incompetency.

At age 25++, I can't sing any song in tune other than Lalalalalalala from Smurfs.

At age 25++, I can't cook without falling asleep in the kitchen first.

At age 25++, I can't climb the overhead bridge without panting.

At age 25++, I can't even do the basic "doggie-style" swimming to save my butt when I am drowning.

However, I can smoke a stick, have my dinner and open a can of beer for my friend simultaneously.

I can annoy three people at one go.

I can read a book/newspaper/Magazine and forget about your existence for a good 50 mins.

I know I am immensely talented.

I am just waiting for someone to upload MY talents on youtube.

God knows when that day will come.

Goodbye

You'll be fine tomorrow

The sun will rise again

It's never easy to say goodbye

You know I'll always love you

You know I always will

Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye

My old friend

Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye

We've reached the end

The memories we made can't be destroyed

You know I won't forget you

You know I never could

And when I said I loved you

You know I meant for good

Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye

My old friend

Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye

We've reached the end

You know I'll always love you

Goodbye.

*Situational songs suck. Its not an exaggeration, its a fact.
